Original Yin personal training provides a path to rejuvenation, strength and wellness through yin-based exercises.

Our collection of customized and unique equipment provides the foundation for a series of gentle exercises that promote increased flexibility and range of movement, strengthen the body’s core, increase breath capacity, encourage weight loss and better rest, and generally help the body to care for itself.

Original Yin emerged from years of practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine but was developed by synthesizing this practice with research in such broad-ranging topics as Taoism, computer science, music, bodybuilding and the captivating physical essence of Hollywood film actors.

We call ourselves the Qi Gong Gym because our training principles are based on Qi Gong, fostering the free flow of energy throughout the body using exercise, breath, and awareness. We do not offer group classes in Qi Gong. Rather, we are a 'personal training' styled gym. The training program is initially explained and guided for the first session or two, and new exercises are periodically prescribed. Still, the training practice is done independently, tailored to your own needs.

We aim to achieve health through a gentle training program that distributes energy throughout the body. This approach may often appear too easy and certainly sets us apart from the typical workout gym. However, the benefits of ease do not compromise strength. Rather, ease lets us build variations into exercises to adapt them and make them more accessible to all ages. Variations are created and learned by merging with the machines through exercises.
